Resetting your password with LeaveWizard

LeaveWizard uses secure passwords which means that they are encrypted and it is not possible for anybody other than the account holder to see them, even our support staff are unable to see passwords. What this means is that you can only change your password if you are logged into the system already. If you have forgotten your password you will need to make a password reset request. These two steps are described below.

Changing your password when logged in

1. Navigate to the correct page by following the ‘My Settings’ link from the left sidebar as shown in the screenshot below.

2. You will then be taken to the User Preferences screen and you should see a similar view to the one below. Where prompted, simply enter your old password, the new password you wish to change it to and then re-confirm the password.

2. An email containing an authentication link will be sent to the specified email address if it is a valid account.

3. Simply follow the instructions in the email and click the authorisation link which will take you to the reset forgotten password page (see screenshot below). This allows you to enter a new password, once you have confirmed your new password you will be redirected to the login page where you can now log in to LeaveWizard.

If you have any problems whilst trying to change or reset your password then please do not hesitate to contact us at support@leavewizard.com where one of our support team will be able to help you.
